Avoid bad lighting

Make sure your photo is taken in natural light. Poor lighting can change how your face looks and make colours appear dull.

Avoid shadows on faces

Any shadows can distort facial details. Choose photos where faces are clearly visible and evenly lit.

Pick a background that contrasts with the faces

If the background is too similar in colour to the person (like brown hair on a brown wall), the image can blend together. Choose photos where the subject stands out clearly from the background.

For a double portrait (2 faces), make sure they are close together

To ensure both faces appear as sharp and detailed as possible, choose a photo where the two people are close together. This helps us capture more clarity in the final image.
