How it works

What happens in this experience?

In this experience, you'll be immersed in a specialised dark environment and make a painting using glowing neon colours

This experience is made of 3 elements:

1
- Your exclusive private room, which will be fully setup with the environment and materials prior to your arrival. You’ll also have a bluetooth speaker to play your own music and set the vibe!

2 - A dedicated host who will ease you into the experience and make sure everyone has a great time. Your host will also capture candid photos and videos which will be available to download on the same day.

3 - The engaging sensory activity where you will be creating a painting in the uniquely dark environment.  

This is a freestyle painting activity, where you can paint anything you like! Don’t worry about knowing how to paint as you’ll have a wide selection of stencil designs that make it easy for anyone to create a great painting. 

Once you’re done, your finished painting goes back with you in our transformable takeaway bag! You can re-use it as a display stand to proudly show-off your creation.

How long is it for?

The booking time slot is for 1 hr & 15 mins, with painting time usually ranging from 45 mins – 1 hr, depending on your group’s pace.

Where will this take place?

The experience is hosted at our purpose-built venue –  Jalato Experience Rooms, which is located here on the 3rd floor of the building with a Bank of India branch in the front.  

Parking information: Parking is available outside the building on any of the adjoining streets. 

Will people who don't know how to paint enjoy this experience?

Absolutely! This is a freestyle painting experience where people can paint anything they like. To help non-artists, we provide curated, easy-to-use stencil designs to help anyone make a great painting.

Will the painting glow in the dark?

The painting glows only within our specialised experience environment. The painting will not glow on its own and remains a vibrant and bright painting in any other environment.

How should we dress for this experience?

We recommend avoiding wearing white clothes for this experience. We also provide aprons to wear over your clothes before getting started.

What about food and beverages?

At the moment, food and beverages are not part of this packaged experience. We are working on adding this as an option for you soon.

However, we do provide an optional upgrade of extending your time within the same experience room for 1 hr to bring and consume your own pre-packaged food such as cakes and light bites.

Please note: We do not permit any foods that might spill, melt or carry strong aromas. Additionally, we don't offer food refrigeration or any cutlery, and we recommend planning accordingly.

This optional upgrade is priced at an additional one-time fee of ₹1,499 (inclusive of 18% GST) which covers the additional time extension as well as the cleanup that is required to switch the room from the experience to the food consumption arrangement and then the additional cleanup post completion.

What about decor?

As our experience rooms are configured for our experiences alone, we do not have the facility to accommodate any external decor.

Is this experience safe for pregnant women?

The paints and environment are completely non-toxic and safe. However, if there are any concerns, we recommend consulting with a doctor beforehand.

What is the pricing for this experience?

Pricing is based on your group size and includes 18% GST:

> For 2 – 4 guests: ₹1,699 per guest
 
> For 5 – 10 guests:  ₹1,499 per guest 

> For 11 – 20 guests: ₹1,299 per guest

How do I make a booking?

A prior booking is mandatory to assign your dedicated private experience room and team. We'll be there every step of the way to help you through the process.

Fill in your details on the form and we will call you as soon as possible. 

> Tell us your plans: 
Understanding your requirements such as number of guests, preferred date and time will allow us to check availability and guide you through the next steps. 

> Confirm your booking via an online payment link: 
Once you're ready to move forward, we'll generate and send you an online checkout link to confirm your booking. You'll be able to complete the transaction via your preferred digital payment method such as UPI/GPay or Credit/Debit cards.  

You’ll receive an email confirmation for your booking including a calendar invite, PDF confirmation and location details. 

Please note: We only accept payments in full to confirm your booking and do not accept any cash as we're a completely cashless business.

Will you do a demo of the experience before I make a booking?

We do not conduct any demos of the experience prior to making a booking.

Can I be a part of the experience if I am not participating?

Bookings are only for the participating guests. Any other non-participants can be seated in the waiting room.

What's the min and max people per booking?

The minimum number of guests is 2, and the maximum is 20. For larger groups, you can explore our portable option.

Can I add extra people to the booking?

Yes, you can! If you’re unsure about your total number of guests, we recommend completing your booking for the minimum guests within your planned group size in relation to our pricing tiers. 

For example: If you've invited 15 guests, you can first complete your checkout for 11 guests at the corresponding pricing tier to confirm your booking and pay for any additional guests at the same price immediately after the experience through a digital link which will be provided to you by your host.

We do not accept any cash as we're a completely cashless business. You'll be able to complete the transaction via your preferred digital payment method such as UPI/GPay or Credit/Debit cards.

How much in advance do I need to make a booking?

Our availability is directly linked to the availability the team and the private room, which are assigned on a first come, first serve basis. We recommend getting in touch 2-7 days prior to secure your private booking.

Can I pay by cash?

We do not accept any cash as we're a completely cashless business. We only accept payments via digital payment methods such as UPI/GPay or Credit/Debit cards.

What is the refund and cancellation policy?

All bookings for our experiences are non-refundable.

However, we offer one free date change for your booking in case you're unable to make it for any reason subject to letting us know up to 2 hours prior to the experience start time.

How do the time slots work?

At Jalato Experience Rooms, we have availability for bookings to start from 12:00 PM until the last time slot of 7:45 PM on every day of the week.

How should I plan the day of my booking? What if there any unforeseen delays? 

Please ensure you and your guests arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start time. Your time slot has a 15-minute buffer, but we do not provide additional time extensions beyond that.

Can I get extra canvases to paint on?

Absolutely! Any additional canvases (inclusive of the reusable display stand) can be purchased for Rs. 299 (inclusive of 18% GST) by coordinating with your host, who will provide you with a digital link to complete the transaction.

How it works at your venue

What kind of venue is suitable for this experience?

This experience is designed for any indoor space, including offices, hotel banquets, and private restaurant/café hires. It cannot be hosted in any outdoor space like a rooftop or garden. Please note these requirements: 

> Ambient Lighting: The space should have as little natural light as possible as this is a light-based experience. 

> Electrical Outlets: The space must have easy access to one or more power outlets. 

> Water Supply: The space should be near a source of water, such as a bathroom. 

> Tables and Chairs: We do not provide tables and chairs, so these must be arranged prior to our arrival. We will coordinate with your venue point of contact to ensure the ideal setup. 

We'll need to view pictures and videos of the space beforehand to assess suitability. An in-person recce may also be required depending on the venue. 

How will you bring this experience to my venue?

In this experience, you'll be immersed in a specialised dark environment at your venue and make a painting using glowing neon colours

This experience is made of 3 elements:

- The portable setup of the experience where our team travels to your venue and sets up the whole environment and materials prior to your guests arrival.

We don’t bring any chairs and tables but we’ll fully co-ordinate with your venue to ensure everything is in place.

2 - A dedicated team including a host who will ease you into the experience and make sure everyone has a great time. Your host will also capture candid photos and videos which will be available to download on the same day.

3 - The engaging sensory activity where you will be creating a painting in the uniquely dark environment.  

This is a freestyle painting activity, where you can paint anything you like! Don’t worry about knowing how to paint as you’ll have a wide selection of stencil designs that make it easy for anyone to create a great painting. 

Once you’re done, your finished painting goes back with you in our transformable takeaway bag! You can re-use it as a display stand to proudly show-off your creation.

Once everyone is done, our team will cleanup and leave the space back to you

Booking an experience at your venue requires some prior planning in order determine the venue suitability and assign your dedicated team. We'll be there every step of the way to help you through the process.

As this experience has specific venue requirements and considerations, we'll help you determine the suitability of your venue options with the help of a digital (via photos and videos) recce and an in-person recce if required.

Yes, you can! If you’re unsure about your total number of guests, we recommend completing your booking for the minimum guests within your planned group size in relation to our pricing tiers. 

For example: If you've invited 20 guests, you can first complete your checkout for 16 guests at the corresponding pricing tier to confirm your booking and pay for any additional guests at the same price immediately after the experience through a digital link which will be provided to you by your host.
